Today, we are flying to Finland. I was up at 05:45. We were leaving from the airport at something over 7 from the office.
This meant I had to drag the suitcase all the way over there. Of course, I was way too early, but I was too scared to oversleep.
We left around 7:15 for schiphol airport.
After a bit of traffic and delays because of the Monday morning rushour, we arrived around 8:30
The bag control took a bit before everybody got their bag and shoes back.
We went to the gate, and some of us went for a Burger King to get some breakfast.
Doing some work while waiting for the gate to open.
We had some delays boarding, but we also had a shorter fly time with the tail wind.
We arrived at Helsinki just around 25 minutes early.
It was time to get something to eat, and we ended up by the Burger King (again)
We had just over an hour left before the gate opened for the next flight.
We waited in a little coffee shop that probably was a better place to get some luch. This was just next to the gate.
The next flight had some delays because we had to wait for a plane from the UK for people with connecting flights.
Before we could really leave, we had to get the airplane deiced .
The airport was a bit smaller, which makes leaving the airplane a bit more fun and time for some photos.
There was no rush to get you inside and away from the plane.
From here, it was a 40-minute bus ride to the hotel.
The first thing when arriving at the hotel was to get dinner. The dinner was a buffet with all kinds of things. This photo was plate #3, just tiny portions of everything I wanted to try, I skipped a few things like the deer.
After dinner it was time to drop the suitcase in the hotel room and get something to drink in the bar
