This morning started early. I’m not sure what woke me up but it might have been the AC turning on of off. My phone looks to be very happy that I went to bed on time.
I have been trying to get my data-Sim to work without any success. my work sim should have 35GB in the USA, but if you are not connected to the right network it is 2 euro and 7 cents per megabyte, this will be a big gamble to take.
The first stop for today was a coffee and something to eat, sadly Coco’s that is around the corner is no longer open, and I opt in for a walk all the way to the Cafe I use to go to in 2018.
I got a medium cappuccino and a small sandwich with chees,egg and spinach, still so happy I found a workaround to use my phone to pay, I just beeped without looking how much it really was
It was time to explore a bit more, I found out yesterday that everything was already fenced off and all the banners were already up.
Next, I had to go back to the hotel because I forgot some pills. After some more trying to get the simcard to work it was time to go to the Best Buy in Fullerton, a short ride away. I tried my lyft account but at that moment both sims had no connection, after walking around a bit both had signal again and I let me book the ride.
I like to browse computer shops like it is an art gallery. I found something for connecting everything to my laptop with one cable that I wanted for a while. The other thing I got was a simcard without a plan, that was something you needed to buy on the internet. This was one dollar for the simcards.
Did my rounds throughout the target on the other side of the street looking for a small water bottle, but I could not find a model I liked. For lunch I found something close by.
After lunch it was time to go back to the hotel with another lyft..
From the hotel it was another walk to the CVS to get something to eat for dinner, I found 3 aluminum bottles yesterday that are the right size to put in my bag to have some water on me.
I figured out my problems with my datasim, changing sims I noticed that the name did not change and it was still there, than it hit me that I did not activate the right simcard but I was turning on and off the esim that only works in Europe, both Sims had the same name so I just kept trying to get the wrong one to work. I am so glad I went for the simcard that you need to activate online for a dollar and not one for 40 dollars.

Google fit and Samsung health have noticed a change, the first keeps sending notices of hitting targets, and the second throws confetti over the graphs.
